Hype Dance

Urban, hip-hop dance classes - Hype Dance Company offers exciting and vibrant street dance training, which is not only fun but a good way of keeping fit.

The word HYPE for us means: Helping Young People Excel

Running for more than 13 years, the Hype troupes perform and compete professionally, at both local and national level. The troupes have qualified and won many Open Street Dance Championships and Competitions, bringing with them 1st and 2nd place trophies. They also perform regularly at festivals, like St Pauls Carnival, Boomtown and Bestival.

Every Wednesday - class times:

• LIL Hype kids open for all street dance class - ages 5 to 10 - time 6pm to 7pm
• HYPE JUNIOR teen open for all street dance class - ages 11 to 15- time 7pm to 8pm
• HYPE ELITE adult Open for all street dance class - ages 16 to adult- Time 8pm to 9pm

(Dancers must stick to there age time slots unless authorised by a teacher)

Parents/guardian must drop off and pick up at the door. The Drop of point is at the front door and the pick up point is at the left side door of the building)

You will have 4 full time main teachers:

Genaya Hartley- Head of Admin and parental support

Class teachers: Lewis Norman, Alex Williams & Shae White

During holidays there will workshops with other part time teachers
