Venue Champions
Join the team as a volunteer Event Champion
We're looking for people who love gigs and music to join our Events Team as Volunteer Venue Champions.
Champions are there to provide informaton to other gig-goers, to help keep people safe and to gather feedback about our events and venue.
Working alongside our Events Team of staff, freelancers and music makers, you will act as a visible, accessible first point of contact, signposting people throughout the venue and undertaking basic stewarding duties to ensure events are safe and enjoyable for everyone.
As a Venue Champion you will be friendly, attentive and have an eye for detail so that you can be alert to any issues to report to our team. You will have a positive outlook and be a great communicator as well as being flexible and reliable.
We are able to provide training for regular volunteer and welcome applications from all backgrounds.
Key tasks include:
- welcoming our audiences to the venue and performance space
- communicating key information to our audiences, such as event running times
- acting as a point of feedback and escalating any issues to venue security and management during or after the event
Rewards for regular Venue Champions include guest list access to events of your choice at the venue, access to discounts and we will cover your expenses including making sure you get home safely.
To apply, email info@trinitybristol.org.uk with a summary of any relevant experience and your availability.
